As the Tiny Masters grow in popularity, they get busier and busier as well. they go to Seattle to get a record deal and this experience influence Pete heavily. He gets to meet all the other music artists and bands and hads a great time. He, himself says in the book that he wouldnt want any other life than the one he is currently living in. He is satified with his life.
he meets this girl when he was getting ready to play in a gig. He saw her play and it reminded him of his mum. This is when he started to become fond of her. And their relationship becomes closer than he expects it to become but at the end he was able to control himself.
He arrives back and Margret tells him that she wants to break up with him.
